Tudor Travel Terms and Conditions

Tudor Travel terms and conditions by accessing and using our service you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using our service, you shall be subject to any posted guideline or rules applicable to our service. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use our service.

Bookings Unless a deposit has been received by Tudor Travel your booking has not been confirmed. By placing your deposit with Tudor Travel, you are accepting that the terms of this Agreement, which incorporate the information, restrictions and obligations detailed herein. You thereby agree to abide by the entire agreement between Tudor Travel and yourself with regards to your booking and your travel arrangements. You also consent to us processing personal information you have supplied to us and other members of your travel party, should this information be provided to us.

 Once Tudor Travel have received your written confirmation of hire the full terms of payment are to be adhered in line with our terms and conditions. Your contract with Tudor Travel is subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.

By placing your deposit with Tudor Travel, you are accepting that the terms of this Agreement, which incorporate the information, restrictions and obligations detailed herein. You thereby agree to abide by the entire agreement between Tudor Travel and yourself with regards to your booking and your travel arrangements. You also consent to us processing personal information you have supplied to us and other members of your travel party, should this information be provided to us.

Bookings must be paid for in full before the departure date. Tudor Travel reserves the right to terminate the booking if the payment has not been made in full unless otherwise agreed in writing.

ADDITIONAL FEES & CHARGES (Admission, tickets, tolls, ferries, accommodation, fuel surcharges and parking, etc.)

Unless it has been specifically requested by you or stipulated by us in the booking confirmation, our price does not include any fees or charges for tickets, admissions, tolls, ferries, accommodation, fuel surcharges, or parking.

If we make arrangements for these, upon your request and on your behalf, we do so acting as your agent.  This means any terms and conditions (i.e., payments, cancellations, refunds, etc.) assigned by any third-party related to these arrangements are binding on you, not us, as if you made the arrangements directly with them.  You must specifically request in writing a copy of their terms and conditions before any arrangements are made by us, or you are deemed to have accepted them in full at the time we make the arrangement.  Any cancellations in the arrangements with or by the third party do not change our cancellation terms and conditions in relation to the vehicle and journey, they are for all purposes treated as an entirely separate agreement.

For some journeys, it may be necessary to accommodate the operator and these costs will be borne by you and must be paid before the commencement of the journey.  Where the operator’s accommodation is arranged and paid directly by you, it must be for a single occupancy room of a reasonable basic standard and include an evening and breakfast meal as appropriate.

Payments can be made by BACS Transfer or cash we do not accept credit or debit card payments.

Tudor Travel reserve the right to refuse or terminate a booking should we consider a booking has been placed using deceptive or fraudulent means.

Tudor Travel will not be held responsible for financial or personal loss to you or any member of your group in the event of mechanical failures and events beyond its control. Events beyond Tudor Travel’s control include (but are not limited to), war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, traffic congestion, road accidents, VOSA checks and stoppages, adverse weather conditions or other maters outside its control technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of hire by Tudor Travel or alteration of the vehicle or vehicle type for reasons beyond Tudor  Travel’s control. These terms of conditions advise no responsibility or liability whatsoever can be accepted by Tudor Travel for any of the above conditions.  Both parties expressly recognise in transport such as coach and minibus hire that in all normal circumstances in business without negligence that delays can happen. in addition, Tudor Travel will not be held responsible for financial loss to you or any member of your group where changes or additions to your booking has not been made in writing and confirmed by Tudor Travel up to 3 days prior to the journey commencing.  

Responsibility for Luggage 

You are responsible for all luggage, carry-on luggage, and personal items. We accept no responsibility and will not be liable for any damage, theft, or loss of any luggage whilst on board our vehicle. You should not leave your luggage or personal items on the vehicle without your supervision, or our prior agreement in writing.  Where we agree in writing to store your personal items or luggage you do so at your risk.

We may refuse carriage of any luggage if we reasonably believe that the luggage is unsafe i.e. A hazardous substance or dangerous goods, Likely to be damaged during travel; or Likely to cause damage to other passenger luggage or any other property. In the event we refuse to carry luggage, you hold sole responsibility for any and all costs of alternate travel for the luggage. 

Unclaimed Luggage 

If a passenger leaves an item of luggage on one of the operator’s vehicles: We will make all reasonable efforts to identify the owner of the luggage and notify them of the unclaimed luggage. Collection of the luggage will be your sole responsibility. 

Any freight fees incurred in transporting the luggage to an alternate location will be borne solely by you. We will store the item as lost property for a period of 90 days. Should the item remain unclaimed at the expiry of that storage period, the item will be disposed of at our sole discretion. We will not be liable for any loss, expense, or inconvenience incurred by you. 

All reasonable efforts will be made to enable Passengers to be reunited with lost property. Lost property found on a coach will be retained and disposed of by the holder in accordance with the Public Service Vehicles (Lost Property) (Amendment) Regulations 1995. Articles found on the coach must be handed over to the driver or Courier of the coach.

 All Tudor Travel vehicles have the capacity to carry the equivalent luggage for the seat capacity as standard, 1 standard size case per person and carry on, Tudor Travel do not accept responsibility for passengers carrying oversized luggage without prior knowledge, and any costs occurred hiring a luggage vehicle will be done so at the client’s own cost.

Breakdowns

Tudor Travel cannot accept responsibility for any breakdowns on your hire vehicle, due to means beyond our control Should your vehicle breakdown, Tudor travel will endeavour to find a replacement vehicle for you If for any reason a replacement vehicle cannot be supplied, Tudor Travel will refund your payment but does not accept any responsibility for any further charges or cost paid by yourselves. This without further liability cancels the contract.

Tudor Travel cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by closed or congested roads, villages, towns and cities, hurricanes, other actual or potential severe weather conditions and any other similar events. Whether this affects timings of pick-ups and/or cancellation of the hire.

Should your allocated vehicle be unavailable, Tudor Travel will endeavour to match or exceed your booked vehicle with an equivalent or better model. However Tudor Travel are unable, to guarantee any specifications to vehicles, including (but not limited to); interior features, possible decorative themes, amounts of inclusive beverages and colour scheme (including body colour) of your vehicle. We will provide through an affiliate partner or network a vehicle as ordered by the Client to undertake the hire in a satisfactory and legal manner.

Delays As provided in these terms and conditions no responsibility or liability can be accepted
due to traffic congestions road accidents, adverse weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns, or any other maters outside its reasonable control. We retain the right due to operational reason to supply a replacement vehicle.  If the Client due to the above refuses to wait for a replacement vehicle no refund will be settled.

 Cancellations can only be accepted by email from the hirer and acknowledged by Tudor Travel. Cancellations will not be accepted by phone unless email confirmation has been received by Tudor Ravel. Cancellation charges are based on how many days before your booked travel date we receive your cancellation notice. The charges are a percentage of the total cost of your booking, your deposit is retained on any cancellation, and however the % payable will be based upon the total amount originally quoted including the deposit. No refund is available for tour bookings 5 days prior to departure or 2 days for normal journeys unless agreed upon by Tudor Travel.

Amendments to you booking are permitted no later than 2 days prior to hire unless authorised by Tudor Travel. We take no responsibility for amendments made unless issued with a new booking confirmation in writing. Please note that in some instances, a major change (such as dates, times, and changes by you to the vehicle hired) will be classed as a cancelation and will apply accordingly. An Amendment Fee may be charged for any amendment made to your booking. An amendment fee will be in addition to any amendment costs resulting in an increase or decrease of the cost of hire. Should we be unable to proceed with an amendment, and you wish to cancel your booking, our standard cancellation policy will apply, in line with your original booking.

Tudor Travel reserve the right to change the vehicle requested for a hire by you at any time. This includes (but is not limited to) the colour and the style of the vehicle (including model type). Tudor Travel will only do so if we feel the requested vehicle is unfit to carry you and your passengers, Tudor Travel cannot guarantee to match your original vehicle. By placing a booking, you are confirming you are accepting this policy, and we will not be held responsible for claims regarding this policy by you against Tudor Travel

Food & Beverages are not to be consumed on any vehicle without our prior written approval. In such circumstances, payment of a bond may be required to cover the risk of damage to the vehicle. 

Use of prohibited substances and smoking in any your vehicle is banned at all times. Should our drivers become aware of any such transgressions from you or your travelling group. Tudor Travel will reserve the right to cancel the hire with immediate effect and eject all passengers at the first safe place to do so. Tudor Travel will not be held accountable for any resulting travel costs and Tudor Travel will inform relevant authorities.

Any damage caused to the vehicle by any member of your party shall become the sole responsibility of you the hirer. Any costs associated with repairs and damage must be paid by you in the time frame agreed with Tudor Travel. An additional daily charge may be imposed should the vehicle be taken out of commission a daily hire rate effective to that vehicle. Criminal Damage may be reported to relevant persons/authorities.

If you have a complaint about your journey, you must contact us in writing to the address given at the end of the terms and conditions, within 7 days of returning from your hire, to allow your complaint to be investigated by Tudor Travel, Failure to do so with in this time frame will render you claim rejected.

Tudor Travel recommends adequate insurances arrangements are in place for events and special occasions booked by you. Therefore, Tudor Travel recommends you speak to your Insurance Advisor to ensure adequate cover is arranged for your event/occasion. Tudor Travel are not authorised to discuss relevant insurance options with you, nor do we offer this type of insurance, and are unable to offer guidance on obtaining cover. 

This site and its components are offered for informational purposes only; this site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.

Tudor Travel reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. If there are any changes to our privacy policy, we will announce that these changes have been made on our home page and on other key pages on our site. If there are any changes in how we use our site customers’ Personally Identifiable Information, notification by email or postal mail will be made to those affected by the change. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on our site 30 days prior to these changes taking place. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.

Tudor Travel reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Should Tudor Travel decide to do so, Tudor Travel will e-mail these Changes to you on your e-mail address no less than 10 days prior to your event day. You have 7 Days in which to raise an objection to the amendments. Should Tudor Travel not receive a reply from you then we will assume you have accepted our new Terms and Conditions, and no correspondence will be entered in to.

Agency Agreements:

Where we (the company) hire in vehicles from other operators at the request of the hirer, or to ensure the hirers requirements are met, and where the company arrange ancillary facilities including, accommodation, ferries, meals, admission tickets or any other services provided by another supplier, it does so as agent for and on behalf of the hirer.

Any terms and conditions imposed by such other suppliers through the company shall insofar as they are supplied to the hirer, be binding on the hirer as if he has directly contracted such services.

The hirer shall indemnify the company against any loss, claim, or award in respect of a breach of such suppliers’ terms and conditions brought about by the hirer’s actions.

No part of these Terms and Conditions affects your rights as a consumer. These Terms and Conditions are in addition to your rights as a consumer.
